The act of fishing is almost as old as man himself. The earliest civilizations came into being beside rivers, lakes, and stretches of coast, not only due to the fertile ground, but because of the access to fish. Today the activity for many has blossomed into less a tool of survival than a sport. Although the earth’s waters are becoming more and more polluted and more and more over fished, sport fishermen are generally not the cause. They venture to far off waterways, often completely alone with nature, for one on one fights with some of the earth’s strongest and most incredible creatures.
