If you are planning a Utah vacation and aren’t sure how to pick between all the amazing outdoor towns that scatter the state, let us help you make the decision. St. George. That isn’t to say places like Moab and Park City aren’t worth a visit, but with close proximity to four gorgeous state parks, an easy drive to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and the Grand Canyon, there are few places in Southern Utah that offer such close proximity to so much natural splendor.

The town itself is small and friendly. The main street is lined with boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Greeting strangers on the street is totally normal. The spirit of the west is not just alive but thriving, and it is a warm welcome indeed.

What to Do There

There are a number of festivals and events throughout the year in St. George, including their annual Dickens Christmas Festival, with concerts and plays regularly held at the local Tabernacle. They host an annual Boston-qualifying marathon, and have a number of championship golf courses that are playable year-round thanks to the mild weather.
