Ride the Hatfield McCoy Trails
One of the longest off road trails in the US; Hatfield McCoy Trails is an eight-trail system that is open year-around to ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes, that’s appropriately called “Trail Heaven.” With routes for novices to more advanced riders, make sure to stop by Twin Falls Resort State Park, a hidden gem perfect a picnic lunch, some hiking (they have 26 miles of trails!), or a visit to the restored farmhouse.

The sandstone cliffs and crystal clear water have earned it the nickname “Little Bahamas of the East.” There are tons of watersports in the area from SUP, kayaking and swimming to cliff jumping and diving, depending on your need for adrenaline.

Take a scenic road trip around Southern West Virginia and stop at several waterfalls and the old railroad town of Hinton, a national historic district. Sandstone Falls has an impressive 25-foot drop, which is just a few miles from Brooks Falls, another favorite photo spot.
