Itinerary
Day 1

Arrive Hong Kong

Welcome to Hong Kong. You are met on arrival, and taken to your luxurious hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure – relax or start to explore the exciting, vibrant and safe city.

Day 2

Hong Kong Sightseeing

Start your morning with traditional Chinese exercise in the park. Tai Chi or “shadow boxing” is a graceful exercise that combines thought and action developed from an ancient martial art. A master will teach you how to capture the spirit of this art form in a one-hour class.

Next, take the funicular tram ride to Victoria Peak for some glorious views of the city skyline. Late morning, drive a bit south to Aberdeen Harbor. Here you board traditional sampans for a closer look at the floating fishermen village that encompasses the harbor.

Enjoy a dim sum lunch on your own before continuing to explore the city. The last stop of the day is the large and renowned Stanley Market. This open aired market has become famous for its bargains on clothes, toys, souvenirs and Chinese crafts. (B)

Day 3

Excursion to Macau

This morning, board a Turbo cat vessel for a 75-minute ride north to the port of Macau. For centuries a Portuguese enclave, Macau was reverted back to Chinese sovereignty in 1999. Explore the historic center of Macau, listed as a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site; it combines the cultural and architectural influence of both east and west.

You will head to the hotel to drop off your luggage. Then visit the 16th century Chinese Kun Yam Temple, and then travel up Penha Hill for a magnificent view of the city. See the ruins of St Paul’s Cathedral, Macau’s most famous landmark, and the adjacent Monte Fort that defended the city. Stroll through Leal Senado Square, paved by the Portuguese in a unique Mosaic pattern of colored-stones, and along Avenida da Praia Residence. You will then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and return to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure. (B,L)
