Buenos Aires is a massive city with over 13 million residents. It's the kind of city you could live in for years and still never see all of. However, that does not mean you cannot have a pretty incredible 48 hours if that's all the time you've got. Here's an itinerary that will give you a good look, feel, and taste of Buenos Aires.
DAY 1
9AM BARTOLA
AREVALO 2015 BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA 1414
Start out with breakfast at Bartola. This adorable cafe in the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood is full of colorful, mismatched furniture and an eclectic staff. Argentines are known for having as little as a cup of coffee for breakfast, but you'll find much more satisfying options at Bartola. Whether you want savory eggs or sweet pastries, they've got you covered.
11AM BOSQUES DE PALERMO

Take a walk around the Bosques de Palermo, a large park about a 20-minute walk from Bartola. The park has serene lakes, running trails, rose gardens, and plenty of green space for relaxing. If you are feeling active, you can rent a paddleboat, bicycle, or rollerblades. Otherwise, you can just enjoy the sun on your face and maybe buy yourself some roasted nuts or ice cream from a nearby vendor.
1PM BUENOS AIRES STREET ART

Embark on a graffiti tour with Graffiti Mundo or Buenos Aires Street Art. The graffiti in Buenos Aires is far better than the average "Johnny loves Jenny" stuff you might see scrawled under a bridge. These tours will take you through the city and show you the best street art Buenos Aires currently has to offer. Have your camera ready because you will see some pretty incredible stuff.
3PM MARTITA
COCHABAMBA 3700 BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
Chow down on some authentic empanadas at Martita. No trip to Buenos Aires would be complete without a proper taste of the traditional dish that Argentina is known for. Empanadas are small dough pockets stuffed with a mixture of meats, cheeses, and vegetables. The insides differ by chef, but the most common varieties are jamón y queso (ham and cheese), carne (beef), and pollo (chicken). Make sure you order a variety of empanadas and taste all the specialties.
6PM VOULEZ BAR

Recharge with a coffee at Voulez Bar, a chic little cafe with fancy teacups and delicious pastry spreads.
10PM LA CABRERA
JOSÉ ANTONIO CABRERA 5099 BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
Have dinner at La Cabrera. This restaurant is often packed, but for very good reasons. Their steak is incredible, as well as many of their other dishes such as the salmon and brie quesadilla. Eat up, you've got a long night ahead of you.
11AM LAS VIOLETAS

Head to Las Violetas for tea and a traditional Argentinean breakfast. Built in 1884, this beautiful historic café serves great coffee, cakes, and all manner of traditional dishes. The décor and ambiance are worth the potential wait for a table (this is a popular spot with visitors and locals).
1PM BIKING BUENOS AIRES TOUR

Work off all that food on a Biking Buenos Aires Tour. This is a great way to see a lot of this fantastic city really quickly. You'll get a look at the city's amazing architecture, learn a bit of history, and get in your workout all at once.
5PM PLAZA FRANCIA

Stop by Plaza Francia in Recoleta where you will find an outdoor market full of artesian crafts and live performers. If you have any energy left, you can stroll over to the famous Recoleta CemeteryAzcuénaga, where Eva Perón is buried.
8PM GRAN PARILLA DEL PLATA
CHILE 594 BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
Feast on traditional Argentinean barbequed meat at Gran Parilla Del Plata, which is housed in what used to be a butchers in the 30s, and has a great vintage vibe. There’s a great selection of local wines, and the desserts are just excellent.
1AM HONDURAS STREET IN PALERMO HOLLYWOOD
ARMENIA 1447 BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
Hit Honduras street in Palermo Hollywood for a night of dancing and drinking. If you think 1am is a little late to start partying, you've got a thing or two to learn about Argentine culture. If you show up to a club before 1, the crickets will be louder than the music. So make sure you time your arrival to Honduras street properly, then bar hop until the sun comes up.
