Day 1&2

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

In electrifying Rio de Janeiro, we will marvel at the wonder of Christ the Redeemer standing over the city and take in the vast expanse of Rio stretching out beneath us. A panoramic drive takes us past the glamorous, sun-drenched beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a cable car ride to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain for breathtaking city and ocean views.

​We will end the evening with an exciting showcase of Samba, the iconic Brazilian tradition with deep African roots.

Day 3&4

Iguazu Falls

Our lavish hotel here is the only one inside the Brazilian Iguazu National Park. After lunch at our hotel, enjoy a breathtaking look at the falls on a thrilling helicopter ride. We will explore the Brazilian side of the falls on a leisurely walking tour. A morning drive takes us to the Argentina side of the falls where we board a gas-propelled train to view the highlight of Iguazu Falls, the Devil’s Throat. We continue to explore the Upper & Lower Circuits of the Argentine side for more extensive and spectacular falls.

Day 5-7

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Our mid-day flight takes us to Buenos Aires, the mesmerizing capital of Argentina, where we’ll witness the ritual and secret of a great Argentine “asado”at Steak by Luis. Our time here is enlivened by stunning architecture, intriguing markets, amazing food, and, of course, the nation’s cultural passion – the tango. We’ll enjoy a memorable dinner and tango show, where you will relive the history of the tango in an environment that awakens your every sense. We conclude our morning with a private backstage tour of the Teatro Colon, the main opera house in Buenos Aires, considered to rival the beauty and acoustics of Milan’s La Scala.

Day 8&9

Bariloche, Argentina

Our two-night stay in this magnificent alpine resort offers a range of choices – from horseback touring to chocolate tasting and much more. Relax and enjoy your stunning lake view room in the resort’s prestigious Moreno wing.

Day 10

Puerto Varas, Chile

On our way to Chile we travel through stunning Patagonian landscapes, watching for flights of Andean condors. A visit to a local farm and a delightful village marks our passage.

Day 11&12

Puerto Montt & Santiago, Chile

A scenic drive takes us to the port city of Puerto Montt, at the southern terminus of the Pan American Highway, where we’ll meet our flight to Santiago. In Santiago we will visit San Cristobal Hill, visit the historic home of Pablo Neruda, Chile's famous poet, learn how to mix a perfect pisco-sour, and – of course! – sample Chile’s world renowned wines. We say our reluctant good-byes at a festive Farewell Dinner and cocktail party.

Day 13

Santiago & Depart for Home

This morning join our local expert for a pleasant walking tour of the trendy Lastarria neighborhood before preparing for your return flight.
